Thanks to advances in technology and anesthesia, even surgeries that just a few years ago required hospitalization can now be handled safely and with greater comfort in a surgery center.
The Delaware Surgery Center is licensed and fully accredited by the State of Delaware, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. The Center is a modern facility utilizing "State of the Art" equipment. Our waiting, pre-operative, operative, and recovery rooms are set in a warm and friendly environment. Our highly skilled and sensitive staff has the chief objective of making sure your surgery is as comfortable and worry free as possible.

The Delaware Surgery Center is a free standing, physician owned facility offering multi-specialty procedures with the capability of performing almost any procedure that is suitable for outpatient surgery.
Your surgeon and anesthesiologist will work collaboratively to determine what type of anesthesia is best for you. If general, regional, and/or monitored anesthesia care is used an anesthesia care team, consisting of a board-certified anesthesiologist and a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA) will care for you throughout your stay.
Delaware Surgery Center understands that a child's surgery is a very emotional experience. For this reason, the Center has been designed to make the experience as pleasant and soothing as possible for both children and parents. Parents can stay with their child right up until surgery, and after the operation, the family is quickly reunited, which is very reassuring to everyone.
